Are you experiencing pain in your hands and arms?
It might be carpal tunnel syndrome.
Our hands are essential in our daily lives.
They allow us to sense the world around us,

They allow us to work, play, and experience the fullness of life.
Carpal tunnel syndrome can rob us of these experiences. Wonder if you have carpal tunnel syndrome?

Think you might have carpal tunnel syndrome?
Are you experiencing:
- Pain, numbness, tingling, or burning sensations in your thumb, index, middle & ring fingers
- Sensations similar to an “electric shock” that may spread from your wrist & up your arm
- Weakness in your hand & wrist that affects your ability to pinch or hold objects
It’s worth a conversation with Dr. Peterson.
What causes carpal tunnel syndrome?
CTS is caused by compression of the median nerve, which runs from your forearm through your wrist. The nerve is set in a narrow space between bones and ligaments called the carpal tunnel. When this nerve becomes compressed due to injury, repetitive motion, inflammation or other factors, the result is numbness, pain and tingling in your palm and fingers. These things can negatively impact your day-to-day quality of life.
What is Trigger Finger?
Trigger Finger is a condition that causes pain and locking of one or more fingers in a flexed position. You may notice snapping, catching, clicking, or locking of the finger in a flexed position with difficulty opening up the hand or extending one or more fingers. This can be treated by ultrasound guided injections or ultrasound guided release (in-office procedure). We offer an outpatient treatment with improved healing times by using ultrasound guided, minimally invasive techniques.
